Alan Fass, a celestial communicator, interacts with numerous spirit guides/angels on a daily basis. He has spent the last eleven years meditating, studying, and listening to these voices of the universe. For the last five years, he has been "conversing" with his spirit guides/angels and others who have made the journey beyond this plane. For the first time, in Answers From Above, he offers his angels' messages of love, peace, and hope to all who wish to receive them.

Alan, also a professional geologist and environmental consultant, has worked tirelessly to help return the earth to its natural state. His daily life reflects the principles outlined in Asmuth and Shamani's messages. He recently realized his lifelong dream of finding an older home in the mountains to "recycle" and then he rebuilt it for his family.

Pamela Pevahouse Fass, a writer, editor, and former public speaking and business communication instructor, has spent most of her life trying to foster communication between and amongst all types of people. While earning degrees in psychology and communication, and a Certificate in Women's Studies, she spent her "free time" organizing multicultural and women-centered events and working to promote awareness of human, animal, and environmental rights issues. A semi-vegetarian for thirteen years and a complete vegetarian for eleven years, as well as a student of metaphysical literature, she has always been interested in the mind/body/spirit connection.

Alan and Pamela Fass live together in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, with the trees, animals, and local country folk as their neighbors. They plan to spend the rest of their lives loving each other, working to create a better world for all of our children, and asking the questions that need to be answered.

Asmuth, a being of light, appears to Alan as an elderly man with long white hair and a white beard. He wears white robes and a golden sash. Asmuth is a very wise being who brings messages of unconditional love, hope, and peace for all of us. All of his messages, based on simple wisdom, provide the love and acceptance we need to face our seemingly complex world. No matter who you are, what you think, or what you look like, Asmuth sees inside of you, beyond your physical appearance, through your thoughts, and deep into your soul. Asmuth knows that the real you, the beautiful soul that you are, filled with love, lurks just beneath the surface, waiting to emerge.

Asmuth, a friend to all people, appears as a male figure, but embraces males and females alike. We are all beings of light composed of masculine and feminine energy—we are all one—females and males, men and women, angels/spirit guides and humans. Asmuth reminds us that the tie that binds us together is universal unconditional love.

Asmuth's messages are founded on universal knowledge, with love as the common denominator. Picture yourself sitting alone on a mountaintop, or in a flower-covered field, or lying on the beach at dawn, with a cool breeze enveloping you. You are surrounded by an overwhelming sense of peace and love, and all of the knowledge of the universe is within you. This is what it feels like to be in the presence of Asmuth. This is what it feels like to know pure, unconditional love.

Shamani, a being of light, appears to Alan as a Native American shaman. His appearance is that of a young man, with long dark hair. He possesses a kind and gentle soul.

Shamani seems to know of the Earth and our (humans') relationship to it. He sees a whole universe in a grain of sand, and reminds us of our connection to all beings, "living" and "non-living," on Earth and beyond.

Think of having a friend, a brother or sister, a mother, or a father who loves you for who you are no matter what. Someone who always accepts you and provides you with unconditional love—this is Shamani.

Shamani provides simple answers, based on simple wisdom, to simple as well as complex questions. His answers often include examples, analogies, or short stories. He wants only to help others find their way to the light, the truth. If you were alone and lost in the woods and didn't know which direction to turn, Shamani would take you by the hand and lead you out. For this, he asks nothing in return.

Shamani enjoys experiencing the beauty of nature through Alan's soul as Alan enjoys the beauty of wisdom through Shamani's soul. The exchange of feelings and sensory perceptions, and profound thoughts and knowledge, provides beings of both worlds with gifts based on unconditional love. Through this mutual exchange, the world of Earth and the world of angels and spirits are united as one.

Shamani, a friend to all, has access to a wide dimension of wisdom and knowledge. He shares the knowledge that is necessary for our higher purpose and growth, and the wisdom we require to begin our quest. As with all angels and spirit guides, he maintains his spiritual essence by embracing and living the ideals of unconditional love and acceptance. And he invites all of you to do the same.
